Secretary of State must establish a continuing education tracking system for all professional licensing boards under its jurisdiction to monitor licensee compliance with continuing education requirements

Tracking system may be a cloud-based software-as-a-service application accessible through a public website, and the Secretary of State may contract with third parties to implement it

Beginning January 1, 2026, professional licensing boards cannot renew any license until the applicant's continuing education compliance is verified through the tracking system

Licensing boards retain authority to grant waivers or impose additional penalties for continuing education non-compliance as otherwise provided by law

Professional licensing boards and the division director may adopt rules and regulations to implement these requirements
