Creates the Georgia Music Office within the Department of Community Affairs to promote and grow the state's music industry, heritage, and musicians statewide

Requires the Commissioner of Community Affairs to select a director with at least 5 years of music industry experience covering areas such as live touring, recording, and distribution

Establishes a "Music Friendly Georgia Certified Communities" program where cities and counties can receive certification after hosting a workshop and forming local advisory boards with music industry stakeholders

Directs the office to serve as a business promotion and information clearinghouse, assist professionals with production contacts and recording locations, and act as liaison between music businesses and government agencies

Implementation is contingent on appropriations from the General Assembly or other available funding
