Local governments cannot require video surveillance equipment at gas stations, except jurisdictions that adopted such ordinances prior to May 6, 2024 may continue enforcing them (effective July 1, 2025)

County costs for services primarily benefiting unincorporated areas must be funded by unincorporated residents through special service districts, grants, or specific taxes/fees excluding amounts derived from incorporated areas

Counties must provide annual reports to all parties in a service delivery strategy identifying total funds received and total costs for unincorporated area services and county shares of jointly-funded countywide services

Service delivery strategy amendments affecting only some local governments may be submitted by just those affected jurisdictions without requiring approval from all parties

Amendments to Code Section 36-70-24 by the General Assembly do not trigger mandatory review and revision of approved service delivery strategies (effective January 1, 2026)
