Georgia Department of Transportation may publish public hearing notices electronically in newspapers (in addition to print) and must post notices on its website at least 30 days before hearings

Department may negotiate acquisition of common property (e.g., condominium or HOA common areas) directly with the association's governing board, which can convey property on behalf of all owners

Department authorized to establish a towing and recovery program for vehicles exceeding 16,000 pounds that are disabled, damaged, abandoned, or wrecked on interstate and limited access highway rights of way

Department may pay utility relocation costs through written agreements with utility providers (not just through roadway contractor contracts) when necessary for public road construction projects
