Future elections for Baker County probate judge will be nonpartisan, conducted under O.C.G.A. Code Section 21-2-139 and the Georgia Election Code

Nonpartisan elections will be held at the general nonpartisan election immediately preceding the expiration of the probate judge's term

The current sitting probate judge is unaffected and will complete their elected term

The incumbent probate judge remains eligible to seek re-election under the new nonpartisan system
