Amends Georgia's juvenile code (Code Section 15-11-2) to modify the definition of offenses that qualify for handling outside the juvenile court system

Removes the existing exclusion that prevented aggravated assault cases involving firearms from being treated as "designated felony acts" when committed by juveniles

Maintains the exclusion from designated felony status when the victim is a public safety officer (as defined in Code Section 16-5-19) or when the acts violate aggravated assault provisions under subsection (c) of Code Section 16-5-21

Expands the circumstances under which juvenile offenders charged with aggravated assault using a firearm may face more serious legal consequences under the juvenile code
