State auditor reporting on architectural and engineering firms doing business with the state changes from monthly to annual reports, with statistics due by January 1 each year beginning January 1, 2027

Annual reports must include contract awards from the preceding fiscal year, contract amounts, number of contracts awarded to Georgia firms, and number awarded to firms in rural areas

Removes the existing 10% cap that made architectural and engineering firms ineligible to contract with the state if they received more than 10% of total state business over 36 months

Removes special reporting requirements for Department of Transportation contracts, including the two-division reporting system for contracts above and below $1 million

Statistics will be incorporated into the Transparency in Government Act reporting requirements under Code Section 50-6-32
