Transportation referral service providers and ride share network services must inform drivers when a pickup or service location has a violent crime rate exceeding the national average, based on FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Program statistics.

Companies must ensure the security and privacy of personal information collected from both drivers and passengers.

A grievance process must be established for drivers utilized by transportation referral services and ride share network services.

Amends Title 40, Chapter 1, Article 3, Part 4 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, specifically Code Sections 40-1-192 and 40-1-193.
