Seminole County Board of Education elections conducted after August 1, 2025, will become nonpartisan elections under Georgia's Election Code

Board members from districts one, three, and five will be elected at the nonpartisan general election in 2026; districts two and four will be elected in 2028

Current board members are unaffected and will serve out their existing terms, remaining eligible to run for re-election

Newly elected board members will take office on January 1 following their election and serve four-year terms
