Fee revenue must be used exclusively for court technology needs including computer hardware/software, imaging and scanning equipment, communications systems, and digital archiving of court records for public access

Collected funds must be maintained in a segregated account by the probate court clerk and used only for authorized technology purposes

Fee authority terminates on July 1, 2035, with any remaining funds dedicated to general DeKalb County technology uses
