Violations of the contact information requirement result in a $2,000 fine per violation, with additional fines assessed every five days for continuing violations

Landlords and managers must respond to communications from local police and fire departments within one hour or face a $5,000 fine

All fines collected under this law go to the Clayton County Public Schools Homeless Education Department
