Mandates a local referendum for City of Dalton voters no later than the November 2026 general election, with the exemption increase taking effect January 1, 2027 if approved by majority vote

City of Dalton bears all election expenses, and the municipal election superintendent must publish notice in Whitfield County's official organ for two weeks prior to the vote

Automatically repeals 365 days after the election date if voters reject the measure or the election is not properly conducted
