Amends the City of Thomasville's existing excise tax authority (originally approved April 27, 2016) to modify how certain tax proceeds must be spent

Requires at least 50% of excise tax collections exceeding what would be collected at a 5% rate to be spent on promoting tourism, conventions, and trade shows

Designates the destination marketing organization chosen by the City of Thomasville to administer and expend these tourism promotion funds

Allows the city to alternatively contract with another authorized entity to administer the tax proceeds under O.C.G.A. § 48-13-51(e)(2)
