Creates a student loan purchase program for licensed veterinary technicians beginning January 1, 2027, administered by the State Veterinary Education Board.

Eligible participants must be Georgia residents practicing veterinary technology for 10 years or less, working full-time in board-approved rural counties with populations of 50,000 or less.

Maximum loan purchase amount is $30,000 per person, paid at a rate of $10,000 per 12 months of service, with a 3-year contract commitment required.

Limits new loan purchase agreements to no more than 5 persons per year, subject to annual state appropriations.

The Board may cancel contracts for sufficient cause and must adopt rules to implement the program; participants may need to provide annual compliance certification.
