Increases monthly retirement allowance for Georgia legislators who are contributing members on or after January 1, 2026 from $50.00 to $75.00 per year of creditable service

Increases the additional monthly allowance for presiding officers (such as Speaker of the House or Lieutenant Governor) from $200.00 to $300.00 per year of presiding creditable service

Inactive or retired members who return as contributing members after January 1, 2026 qualify for the increased rates only for service earned after that date

Effective date is July 1, 2026, contingent on the bill being certified as concurrently funded under the Public Retirement Systems Standards Law; automatically repeals if funding requirements are not met
