Private school students, home study students, and public school students may enroll part-time in any Georgia public school to take academic courses, subject only to school capacity and academic/grade level prerequisites

Public school students may access courses and programs at other public schools that are unavailable at their resident school

Local school systems will receive state funding for each part-time student enrolled, calculated per one-sixth segment of the school day attended or according to State Board of Education guidelines

Local boards of education are prohibited from charging tuition to part-time students enrolled under this provision

Local boards must adopt policies to implement the program but may only restrict enrollment based on academic prerequisites and school capacity
