Authorizes the Probate Court of Thomas County to charge a technology fee up to $10.00 for each civil action filed with the court

Fee funds are restricted to court technology needs: computer hardware/software purchases, equipment leases and maintenance, and imaging/scanning/communications/printing equipment

Collected funds must be maintained in a segregated account by the probate court clerk and are subject to audit by a Thomas County-approved auditor

Fee authority terminates on July 1, 2031, with residual funds dedicated to general Thomas County technology uses

Probate court judge may declare a surplus once per year and transfer excess funds to the Thomas County governing authority
