Authorizes the Tift County Probate Court to charge a technology fee up to $5.00 per civil action filing and up to $5.00 as a surcharge on each fine assessed by the court

Fee revenue restricted exclusively to court technology needs: computer hardware/software, imaging and scanning equipment, communications systems, and digitization of court records for public access

Collected funds must be maintained in a segregated account by the probate court clerk and are subject to audit by an auditor approved by the Tift County governing authority

Authority to assess the technology fee terminates on July 1, 2036

Any residual funds remaining after termination will be dedicated to general Tift County technology uses
