Home study and private school students may enroll in college and career academy courses located within their RESA service area or in adjacent local school systems, expanding access beyond just their resident school system

Available courses are limited to eligible CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) courses offered to public school students at the academies

Enrolled students must meet the same requirements, follow school conduct rules, and pay the same fees as public school students, while providing their own transportation

Local boards of education earn FTE funding for each home study or private school student enrolled and cannot charge tuition to these students

Effective July 1, 2026, applying to the 2026-2027 school year and beyond
