Upgrades the offense of riot from a misdemeanor to a felony, punishable by imprisonment for 1 to 20 years

Defines riot as two or more persons committing an unlawful act of violence or any other act in a violent and tumultuous manner

Adds riot to the list of offenses with restricted bail conditions under Georgia Code Section 17-6-1, limiting when bail may be granted

Amends Georgia Code Sections 16-11-30 (riot) and 17-6-1 (bailable offenses)
