Department of Community Supervision holding periods in county jails for sanctioned probationers limited to 60 days maximum unless the sheriff, warden, or chief of police expressly approves an extension

County reimbursement rate from the Department of Corrections and State Board of Pardons and Paroles increased from $7.50 to $30.00 per day per inmate housed in county facilities

Reimbursement period changed to begin on the date of sentencing or probation revocation order (rather than 15 days after documentation received) and ends when the inmate is transferred or released from county custody

Sheriffs, wardens, and chiefs of police prohibited from being required by court order or DCS policy to transport probationers to probation detention centers, boot camps, or day reporting centers

Parolees whose parole is revoked prohibited from serving sentences in county facilities unless the sheriff or warden expressly agrees; applies also to those arrested on felony parole warrants
