Creates a House Study Committee on Raising the Minimum Wage in Georgia, composed of five members appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives

Georgia's state minimum wage has remained at $5.15 per hour since 1997, one of only three states with a minimum wage lower than the federal rate of $7.25 per hour

Committee will study the optimal approach and wage level for raising the minimum wage and may recommend legislation

Members receive allowances under Code Section 28-1-8 for up to five days, funded through House of Representatives appropriations

Committee must file any report with the Clerk of the House before abolishment on December 1, 2026
