Congratulates the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter in Cartersville, Georgia on its 30th anniversary in 2026

The shelter was founded on February 2, 1996 during an ice storm, starting in a borrowed house and growing to a 24-hour facility with capacity for 30 guests

Currently operates two emergency shelters and more than 10 units of transitional housing for families and children

Provides temporary shelter along with physical, emotional, and spiritual support to men, women, and families in need

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the shelter
