Georgia House of Representatives recognizes and commends Ms. Shantelle Grant for her selection as the 2025 Georgia Public Library Employee of the Year

Ms. Grant serves as children's coordinator at Toccoa-Stephens County Public Library and as regional children's and youth services director for the Northeast Georgia Regional Library System, a position she has held since 2007

Programs she oversees include story-time, summer reading programs, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, home-school programming, the Mayor's Reading Club, and collection development

In November 2025, Ms. Grant was also recognized by the Stephens County School System as the 2025 Pioneer in Education

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide a copy of this resolution to Ms. Grant
