Recognizes Taiwan as a long-standing U.S. ally sharing democratic values, noting 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence and 30th anniversary of Taiwan's first direct presidential election

Highlights Taiwan as the U.S.'s 7th largest trading partner with $158.8 billion in bilateral trade-in-goods, and Georgia's 15th largest import and 17th largest export market in 2024

Supports continued U.S.-Taiwan Initiative on 21st-Century Trade talks and a double taxation avoidance mechanism, and encourages Georgia to establish a trade office in Taiwan (joining 23 other states and Guam)

Endorses Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations including WHO, UNFCCC, ICAO, INTERPOL, CPTPP, and IPEF

Encourages signing an education cooperation MOU with Taiwan and promotes use of the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL), approved by Georgia Department of Education in 2025 for the State Seal of Biliteracy
