Recognizes Friday, February 6, 2026, as National Wear Red Day in Georgia to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease in women

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death among women in the U.S., claiming 1 in 3 women annually and surpassing all forms of cancer combined

Nearly half of all women over age 20 have some form of cardiovascular disease, and women often experience different heart attack symptoms than men, including shortness of breath, nausea, back or jaw pain, and extreme fatigue

Encourages all Georgia residents to learn the signs and symptoms of heart disease and stroke in women and support prevention and early detection efforts

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to distribute copies of the resolution to the public and press
