Jones was born April 23, 1977, in Willemstad, Curaçao, and signed with the Atlanta Braves as a free agent at age 16

Made his MLB debut with the Atlanta Braves in 1996 and became the youngest player ever to hit a home run in the postseason during the 1996 World Series

The Atlanta Braves retired his number 25 on September 9, 2023

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to Andruw Jones
