Georgia House of Representatives formally recognizes and commends the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers (GACCP) for delivering home and community-based care to individuals with disabilities, complex care needs, and aging populations

GACCP member providers deliver services through Medicaid waiver programs including ICWP, EDWP, NOW, and COMP waivers, enabling individuals to receive care at home rather than in institutional settings

Providers operate throughout Georgia, with significant presence in underserved and rural areas where they serve as the primary source of support for individuals and families

Home and community-based services reduce taxpayer costs compared to institutional care while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for recipients

Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to GACCP
