Georgia House Resolution recognizing The Youth Civic Advisory Board (YCAB), established by Dr. Jamelle McKenzie and Dean of Students Eleanor Willis to incorporate youth perspectives into community decision-making in College Park

YCAB provides youth-centered recommendations to local leadership on policy discussions, programming, and community priorities while training students in critical thinking, problem-solving, and public speaking

Board members participate in City Council advocacy presentations, community service initiatives, government field trips, and workshops with elected officials

Current YCAB initiative focuses on addressing homelessness in College Park through compassion, awareness, and action

Clerk of the House of Representatives directed to provide a copy of the resolution to The Youth Civic Advisory Board
