Commends and congratulates the Newnan Kiwanis Club on its 100th anniversary, having been founded in 1925 by Dr. Thomas Bailey with sponsorship from the Atlanta Kiwanis Club

The club has co-sponsored the Coweta County Fair with Coweta County and the Cattlemen's Association since 1947

In 2001, the club purchased land for a new fair location and deeded it to Coweta County; proceeds from the fair since then have generated over $5.8 million in donations to local 501(c)(3) charities

In 2025, the club distributed $300,000 to 58 local organizations including Meals on Wheels, Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and various youth programs

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the Newnan Kiwanis Club
