Recognizes the Georgia School of Orthodontics (GSO) on its 10th anniversary, founded in 2014 by Chris Lazzara and Dr. Gasper Lazzara to expand orthodontic education and provide affordable care

GSO has treated over 14,600 patients, generated $46.6 million in savings for Atlanta-area families, awarded over $5 million in scholarships to 73 recipients, and educated 172 alumni

In 2018, GSO became the first orthodontic institution nationally to be designated a Purple Heart School; launched Purple Heart Smiles program in 2017 providing free care to military families

In 2025, GSO partnered with the John and Lillian Miles Lewis Foundation to establish the $8.5 million John Lewis Legacy Scholarship for orthodontic education

Invites GSO leadership, faculty, residents, and staff to be formally recognized on the floor of the Georgia House of Representatives
