Georgia House Resolution recognizes and commends the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA), founded in 1993 by Prof. Natsu Saito and Judge Alvin T. Wong to support Asian American and Pacific Islander attorneys

GAPABA was chartered as an official chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association on June 11, 1993, with 13 original charter members

The GAPABA Law Foundation, organized in 2005 as the nonprofit arm, has awarded over $350,000 to nonprofit organizations supporting legal internships, programs, and fellowships for Georgia's AAPI legal community

The organization established the Trinh Huynh Fellowship for AAPI litigation and the Hemanth Digumarthi Public Interest Scholarship for law students in unpaid public interest internships

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to GAPABA
