Recognizes the League of Women Voters of Georgia (LWVGA) for its historic and ongoing contributions to voter education, civic engagement, and protection of democratic participation

LWVGA was founded on April 3, 1920, out of the women's suffrage movement at the home of Emily C. MacDougald, with Annie G. Wright of Augusta serving as its first president

The organization has advocated for labor laws, prison reform, election reform, public education, civil rights, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Equal Rights Amendment, National Voter Registration Act of 1993, and Help America Vote Act of 2002

In 1952, LWVGA successfully defeated an amendment that would have institutionalized Georgia's county unit system, which disproportionately favored rural counties

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the League of Women Voters of Georgia
