Georgia House of Representatives recognizes and commends Eden Pethel, an eighth grade homeschooled student from Pendergrass, Georgia, for winning the state's U.S. semiquincentennial anniversary commemorative license plate design competition

The competition was open to sixth through eighth grade students statewide to celebrate the United States' 250th anniversary

Eden Pethel's winning design will be produced as an official license plate displayed on vehicles throughout Georgia

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to Eden Pethel
