Jason Colbert, a nursing student at Southeastern Technical College, is recognized as the 2025 state recipient of the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) from the Technical College System of Georgia

Colbert was selected from among 22 TCSG college GOAL winners who demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and leadership

The GOAL program, operating for more than 50 years, is the first program of its kind in the nation to honor outstanding technical college students

Colbert will serve as an ambassador for technical education representing more than 149,000 TCSG students at 22 colleges throughout Georgia

The House of Representatives directs the Clerk to provide a copy of the resolution to Jason Colbert
