Acknowledges FCS addresses societal concerns including obesity, food safety, financial literacy, family life complexities, and school readiness preparation

Recognizes the Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and other FCS entities for promoting the field and preparing families to manage everyday challenges

Expresses House support for national, state, and local intervention strategies to sustain Family and Consumer Sciences programs in current economic and education environments

Directs the Clerk of the House to distribute copies of the resolution to Family and Consumer Sciences organizations
