Recognizes and commends the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV), founded in 1980 as the Georgia Network Against Domestic Violence with five charter member organizations

GCADV provides information and support to members, promotes services and prevention for families in domestic violence situations, and serves as a state resource on legislation, reforms, and funding

For 25 years, thousands of advocates have convened at the Georgia State Capitol through GCADV's efforts, partnering with the Georgia Commission on Family Violence and Georgia Network to End Sexual Assault for Stop Violence Against Women Day

GCADV has helped pass legislation including the Survivor Justice Act, adding pets to protective orders, establishing an address confidentiality program, allowing domestic violence victims to break leases without penalty, and establishing domestic violence as "good cause" for unemployment benefits

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to GCADV
