Georgia House of Representatives formally recognizes the First Senior Center of Georgia, a non-profit founded in 2017 by CEO Von Tran that provides free services to the Vietnamese elderly community in the Atlanta area

The organization offers bi-weekly food pantry services for low-income families with seniors aged 65 and above, along with social and community health services, interpretation and translation, transportation, funeral support, and rental assistance

The center's mission focuses on providing culturally and linguistically competent health and social services to Vietnamese and minority seniors facing language barriers and isolation

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to the First Senior Center of Georgia
