Georgia House Resolution recognizing and commending the Atlanta Chapter of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) for its contributions to career advancement and economic empowerment of underrepresented professionals

The National NBMBAA was founded in 1970, with the Atlanta Chapter established in 1980 with 20 charter members and now grown to over 1,000 members

Atlanta Chapter programs include a 1:1 Mentorship Program, scholarships for college and graduate students pursuing MBA degrees, and the Leaders of Tomorrow Program serving over 30 teens in Metro-Atlanta

The Atlanta Chapter is one of 40 NBMBAA chapters nationwide and has been recognized for its programming and signature events

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the Atlanta Chapter
