Recognizes and commends Haygood Memorial United Methodist Church on its 100th anniversary, celebrated on March 22, 2026, in Atlanta's Morningside neighborhood

Church is named for Bishop Atticus Haygood (co-founder of Paine College, Emory's eighth president) and his sister Laura Haygood (pioneer educator and missionary inducted into Georgia Women of Achievement in 2000)

Weekday Children's Ministries operates three programs serving over 200 children: half-day preschool with accredited kindergarten, full-day year-round child care, and year-round after-school program

Haygood Hoops youth sports initiative served over 900 children in the 2025-2026 season

Church supports community organizations including Intown Cares, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Angel Tree for Morningside Elementary School, Wesley Woods, and Wellroot Family Services
