The award is named for Representative Nikki T. Randall, the first African American woman elected to the Georgia General Assembly from middle Georgia in 1999, who served 17 years including as chair of the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to Melissa Walker
