Creates a House Study Committee on Lupus to examine challenges faced by individuals with the chronic autoimmune disease, including delays in Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income approval processes

Committee composed of 7 members: 4 House members from the Health Committee appointed by the Speaker, plus the commissioner of public health (or designee), a representative from the Georgia Council on Lupus Education and Awareness, and a representative from the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America

Committee authorized to study conditions, needs, and issues related to lupus and recommend legislation as deemed necessary or appropriate

Legislative members receive standard allowances; member compensation limited to 5 days unless additional days authorized, with funding from House appropriations

Committee must file any findings or legislative recommendations with the Clerk of the House before abolishment on December 1, 2026
