Creates a House Study Committee on Evaluating Community Health to examine the Department of Community Health (DCH), which serves one in four Georgians through Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids, State Health Benefit Plan, and other programs

Committee will consist of five House members appointed by the Speaker, who will also designate the chairperson

Study will focus on DCH's current operations, functions, services, funding, staffing needs, and health coverage/medical assistance programs, with recommendations for any necessary state action or legislation

Legislative members receive allowances under Code Section 28-1-8 for up to five days unless additional days are authorized, with funding from House appropriations

Committee must file any approved report with the Clerk of the House and will be abolished on December 1, 2026
