Creates a House Study Committee on Georgia Department of Transportation Contracting composed of 10 members appointed by the Speaker of the House

Committee will examine utility adjustment schedules in highway construction contracts to determine if projects could be completed faster

Committee will study oversight, management, and operations of highway construction projects and recommend policy or legislative changes to keep projects on time and on budget

Committee members may receive allowances for up to 5 days unless additional days are authorized, funded through House of Representatives appropriations

Committee must file any report with findings or proposed legislation by December 1, 2026, when the committee will be abolished
