Proposes amending Article I, Section I, Paragraph XXII of the Georgia Constitution to eliminate the exception that currently permits involuntary servitude as punishment for crime or contempt of court

Would revise the state constitution to read simply: "There shall be no involuntary servitude within the State of Georgia"

Officially titled the "Ending Slavery in Georgia Amendment"

Requires submission to Georgia voters for ratification or rejection as a ballot question pursuant to Article X, Section I, Paragraph II of the Constitution
