Nearly 60,000 children in Georgia are homeless or living in unstable housing, representing approximately 2% of public school students lacking fixed, regular nighttime residences

The shelter provides early childhood education, trauma-informed care, mental health services, family support, and crisis stabilization resources to families experiencing housing instability

Employs a nationally recognized two-generation (2Gen) approach that simultaneously supports children with education while providing parents workforce development, housing resources, and case management

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to the Atlanta Children's Day Shelter
