Georgia House Resolution 1542 recognizes and commends Julia Wood as the Career Women's Network Woman of Achievement 2026

Julia Wood holds an MBA from Mercer University (2005) and a BA in journalism from the University of Georgia (2002), and has served as Senior Vice President of Development and Donor Services at The Community Foundation of Central Georgia since joining in 2008

Community leadership includes Rotary Club of Downtown Macon membership since 2005, Girl Scout Troop #60043 Leader since 2013, Board Chair of the Museum of Arts and Sciences in 2017, and co-founder of the I Love Macon campaign

As President of the Junior League of Macon, she led the organization to receive the Association of Junior Leagues International Fund Development Award in 2013 and was honored with the Angela Meadors Spirit Award in 2010
