Retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service in the automotive manufacturing industry

Survived by his wife Henrietta, four children, and extended family including grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide a copy of the resolution to Bishop Barnes' family
