Georgia House Resolution congratulates Kelbie Milon for receiving the 2026 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award, presented annually by the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus during Women's History Month

Milon serves as Executive Director of The Refuge Center (since 2025), having started as a client nearly 18 years ago, then volunteering in 2014 and joining staff in 2016

Under her first-year leadership, The Refuge Center served 972 unique clients through more than 4,000 visits and received Nonprofit of the Year through the RICE Awards

Award honors Representative Nikki T. Randall, who in 1999 became the first African American female elected to the Georgia General Assembly from middle Georgia and served 17 years

Milon also manages House of Fire Fitness in Conyers, Georgia, volunteers with children's summer camps, and serves as a Youth Leader at her church
