Creates a House Study Committee on Hospital/Homebound (HHB) Services and Medically Fragile Student Attendance to examine educational services for students with significant physical or mental health challenges

Committee will consist of 5 members of the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker, with one designated as chairperson

Study will address delays in initiating HHB services, variations in service delivery across school districts, and strategies to reduce chronic absenteeism among medically fragile students

Committee will gather input from educators, families, medical providers, and the Department of Education to develop legislative recommendations

Committee stands abolished on December 1, 2026, and must file any approved report with the Clerk of the House before that date
